For many years base layer companies were manufacturing products from the miracle fibre merino wool but only producing underwear which looked plain and boring! Then in 2009 the founders of Mons Royale decided to step the merino wool market up a gear.The first of this new product hit the shelves in New Zealand, and despite being around two months late, the revitalised merino wool market was taken by storm opening these thermal underwear up to a much wider audience than ever before. Their philosophy is to make thermal base layers look as good in the mountain as they do back down on the street; with an extremely high performance and build quality to match.
