Roxy

The move to start up a new women’s line of products back in 1990 was seen as a brave move from Quiksilver as the women’s scene was fairly small despite many athletes achieving numerous sporting awards. Initially like many other water born companies, Roxy, started with a swimwear line which quickly moved on to women's sportswear then a denim range followed by a women's technical snow sports range that proved hugely successful with skiers and snowboarders around the world. Born from the Quiksilver logo the heart shaped Roxy crest was born. On one summer afternoon on a beach in Hawaii the Roxy team had an idea that would change women board shorts for ever which eventually lead to Roxy hosting one of the most prestigious events in surfing the Roxy Pro Hawaii Surf Comp.
